PS 'Adelaide' is wooden hulled on wooden frames. The Adelaide is fully wooden in her construction, using Murray River Red Gum frames and planking. She is the third oldest original paddle steamer in the world still operating today and perhaps the oldest wooden paddle steamer in the world operating today [2019].[Information supplied by Frank Tucker.].
