English: Original description: Paris Exposition: Inauguration Day, Paris, France, 1900. Inauguration Day. The 'Ship of the President' or the President's Barge. President Loubet and his party embark to review the foreign pavilion and Pont Alexandre III after opening excercises. The buildings belonging to the Trocadero section are visible. The Palace of Animated Voyages with its circular balcony is clearly seen in the center. Brooklyn Museum Archives. Extra information: Picture taken from the Pont d'Iéna towards the Passerelle Debilly (invisible) and the right bank of the Seine river. Buildings are, from left to right: Restaurant Britanique, pavillon des Voyages animés, pavillons Boulangerie et Patisserie.
