Description The following is the author's description of the photograph quoted directly from the photograph's Flickr page.
"This waterfall is on the boundary between Canada and the U.S. and parks offer access from both sides. (Just try avoiding customs by that route.) From the Minnesota side, these are the highest falls in the state at 120 feet. Grand Portage a nine-mile detour around the falls on the Pigeon River, was a thoroughfare for canoe travelers, including fur traders, for centuries. These pictures are taken from the Canada side. "
