There were no renewals for the International Latex Company. The Life magazine copyright renewal status would have no bearing on whether or not this ad was now in the public domain because magazines are considered to be collective works; any ads in them must have their own copyright registration to be considered protected. US Copyright Office page 3-magazines are collective works (PDF) There's no evidence the International Latex Company renewed the copyright on the ad.
