Punch ball, boxing machine. Cambridge Midsummer Fair 2005.

For many years a traditional attraction at funfairs has been the strength machine in which a mallet is used to strike a lever, send a puck up to strike a bell. In the 21st century, these have largely been replaced by punch ball boxing mahines which are automatic and need no supervision.
