Description

Beans and pulses are ingredients to a large number of staple dishes in India. They are vegetarian source of protein. All sorts of beans are soaked for 6-24 hours, drained, then cooked. Some are spicy, others not.

Above is rajma, a red kidney based dish. It is typically served with rice and dahi (yogurt) / raita.
