An image of Rei Hino as drawn and copyrighted by Naoko Takeuchi. This image was obtained from [1] and uploaded after the article was apparently vandalized with the original, identical image removed.

Fair use for Sailor Mars[edit]

Though the image is subject to copyright, I, Scott7261, feel that its appearance in the article qualifies as fair use because, in my opinion,

• the image is contextually significant in that it is a manga drawing by the character author, one that broadens the reader's understanding of the origin, history, and identity of the character;
• it is a low-resolution image;
• it is not likely to replace the original market role of the drawing or the manga in which it appears.

The copyright for it is most likely held by either the publisher/producer and/or artist(s) producing the work in question.
