English: This is a low resolution image of an oil painting.
Irish Shipping commissioned the work from the marine artist Kenneth King [1]. After the demise of Irish Shipping, the Maritime Institute of Ireland bought the painting at auction. The painting is in the National Maritime Museum of Ireland. Des Brannigan, while president of the MII had this painting scanned for a commemorative brochure. This image is from that scan rather than directly from the painting.
