The resolution has been reduced until the narration are just about legible; the text is crucial in that it compliments the artist's intention to illustrate the subject, and is critical in its part to the humour of the portrayal. |

To help readers understand the accuracy of cultural depiction the author, Lat, has put into his work. Lat is known for his works on Malay traditions and the humour and details in his depictions, as often referenced and stressed in the article's text, are best judged by the reader instead of relying on second-hand interpretations. |

None. Malaysian copyright law states that copyright persists for 50 years after the author's death. Lat is alive, and is unlikely to surrender his copyrights to his work. Derivative works (attempts to emulate this piece) are copyright violations or are misrepresentations of the artist's skill. |
