English: Shetland Bumblebee (Bombus muscorum agricolae) This distinctive subspecies, much brighter than the Mainland race, is the commonest bumblebee in Shetland. The subspecies agricolae is also supposedly found in the Outer Hebrides although it is difficult to see how both populations can have a common ancestor, so they should probably be treated as separate subspecies.
