English: The Skanda Purana is one of 18 major Puranas of Hinduism. This text, like numerous Hindu texts, exists in Sanskrit language but one of many Indic scripts.
This is a leaf from a palm leaf manuscript book, held together by a thin rope (seen going up in the photo).
