Summary

Description
English: Collotype, Court sized, Undivided back 12.60 x 8.80cm Thomas Paar was one of the earliest publishers of Darjeeling postcards, and a longtime photographer with a grand studio in the middle of the hillstation. "Souvenir" was an early alternate form of the "Greeting from" on many of these composite cards with often elaborate frames around the photographs that defined a place for the visitor with memorable types and scenes.
