English: St Wilfrid's Church, Halton Apart from the medieval tower, this church was built in 1876-7, designed by Paley & Austin. Pevsner wrote that their work can be recognised by their red tiled roofs and the subtly composed variety of the Dec (Decorated style) S windows. The shaft of the Halton Cross has sneaked into the picture on the right.
