Summary

Description
English: Steamship Beaver, built in 1886 by Ramage and Ferguson of Leith, Scotland, for Webster and Company of Brisbane, Queensland. Later Beaver was acquired by the Brisbane Tug and Steamship Company and was the largest of three excursion steamers run by the company. Beaver had a colourful career and took part in several ocean rescue tows. When not employed on towage duties she ran excursion trips, usually on holidays and weekends.
