Description
English: 1950. T. Dale Stewart, physical anthropologist, Department of Anthropology, United States National Museum, now the National Museum of Natural History, seated at work table in the collection area holds a skull and other skulls are on the table in front of him and in cases behind him. Photograph was probably taken on October 3, 1950 by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Stewart often examined skeletons for the FBI and pioneered in the field of forensic anthropology.
