English: Conceptual representation of the intra-reconfigurability where the object can change back and forth into each configuration (including the initial state) resulting it into finite state machine with six configurations.Conceptual representation of the inter-reconfigurability (a) homogeneous robots. (b) heterogeneous robots where different colors indicate different robotic modules. conceptual representation of the nested-reconfigurability. The robotic system demonstrates both inter-reconfigurability and intra-reconfigurability.
