Summary

Description The U.S. anti-submarine aircraft carrier USS Hornet (CVS-12) and the destroyer USS Nicholas (DD-449), during underway replenishment from the fleet oiler USS Cimarron (AO-22) off the coast of North Vietnam, circa 1966. Hornet, with assigned Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 57 (CVSG-57), was deployed to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 12 August 1965 to 23 March 1966.
