Summary

Description The U.S. Navy destroyer esccort USS Evans (DE-1023) off Point Loma, California (USA), shortly after leaving the Long Beach Naval Shipyard. While in the shipyard the after 7.6 cm gun mount was removed and the DASH landing deck was added without a hanger.
