Description The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Porter (DD-356) at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard, California (USA), on 10 July 1942. An Omaha-class light cruiser is visible to the left, most probalby USS Raleigh (CL-7), which was at Mare Island from 1 March to July 1942.
