The use of a low resolution version of this logo constitutes fair use in the Wikipedia article Unitarian Universalist Association because:

• The low resolution nature of the image prevents reuse which could infringe on the commercial benefit of the copyright owner;
• The image and the organization it represents are critically discussed by the article;
• The Unitarian Universalist Association has willingly published such images to represent their organization.

The use of a low resolution version of this logo constitutes fair use in the Wikipedia article Flaming chalice because:

1. It illustrates an educational article about the origins and interpretations of the logo itself.
2. The image is used as the primary means of visual identification of the article topic.
3. It is a low resolution image, and thus not suitable for production of counterfeit goods.
4. The logo is not used in such a way that a reader would be confused into believing that the article is written or authorized by the owner of the logo.
