English: "The valley section is a longitudinal section which begins high up in the mountains and then follows the course of a river down the mountains and through a plain toward its estuary at the coast...he expresses in the valley region that Enlightenment theory of social evolution that describes mankind’s development through the four stages of hunting, pastoral, and agriculture toward commercial societies."
