Description
English: Dedication to Hadrian, buff sandstone, two fragments. The Saxon builders, in reusing, placed it face downwards and carved the arms of a cross bordered by a cable mould on its lower edge. Found 1782 in restoring Jarrow Church. Now in the Great North Museum
