Summary
| Description | A mounted Metropolitan Police Officer outside the front entrance to Wellington Arch Police Office (AW). The Police Office in Wellington Arch was manned by officers from Cannon Row Police Station, their main duty was to regulate the traffic at Hyde Park Corner. This probably dates from the mid 1930s. The Arch now houses an English Heritage museum. |
