Regarding image Michelangelo Antonioni..This image was originally uploaded from it.wikpedia. That person uploaded the image from flickr. On both flickr and it.wikpedia, the license attached to the image clearly states that it is non-commercial.... however, now that the image is on wikipedia, the attached license permits commercial use....is this a mistake. The reason for my concern.I would like to use this image in a book I'm writing, and I need to know if commercial use of this image is allowed Thanks, user danwex--Danwex 05:32, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Licenses with NC (non-commercial use only) are not OK here. As the image is not OK, consider asking the author to release the work under a free license such as CC-BY (Creative Commons Attribution license) or CC-BY-SA (Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike). --Camptown 21:37, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
