Advice needed[edit]

What to do with legally contested territories, partially recognized, and unrecognized states?

I went ahead and marked a few well known cases as contested - Crimea, Kosovo, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, North Cyprus, and Palestine as contested. However, the list of contested territories obviously doesn't stop there. Should Hala'ib Triangle be marked as contested? What about Taiwan? What about Israel itself? I would like the map to follow a consistent pattern but I find it hard to do that while still conveying what the map is actually supposed to convey.

Anyone with ideas on this, please either advise or correct the map yourself. Kami888 (talk) 05:25, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
