According to this map, the chunkiest temperate rainforest in the world is the island of Ireland. A thousand or two years ago that would have been correct. Modern Ireland is a desert of grass all over and is well known to be the most deforested, and most wastefully so, area in Europe. Most forests in Ireland are similar in size to small urban parks. I dare to say there is no forest of major significance in Ireland today, so the improvement I would suggest to this file is to blank out the island of Ireland or just to put three or four tiny tiny dots on it. ~ R.T.G 14:17, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

If grass shorter than six inches constitutes a forest then Ireland is a rain forest. Otherwise it is a series of holding pens for captive cows. ~ R.T.G 14:21, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
