The Folk Art Museum of Epirus - "Kostas Frontzos" is a museum in Ioannina, Greece. The museum is housed in a building of the first decade of the 19th century. Initially the private residence of a Turkish notable, it was later used as a Turkish primary school and after the Greek independence it was used for education in various ways, including as a Pedagogic Academy. In 1976 it was bought by the Society for Epirotic Studies and was converted to a Folk Art Museum. A new wing was added during the 1990s. Its large collection of 19th and 20th century items includes traditional dresses, lace and woven figured fabrics, pottery, gold and silver works, sculptured stone and wood, domestic utensils and agricultural tools. Its diversity and qualitative presentation make it unique in Epirus and notable to the rest of Greece.
