Gawler Oval railway station is a railway station on the Gawler railway line in the South Australian town of Gawler. It is located 41.4 km by railway from the Adelaide Railway Station. During 2006 the platform at Gawler Oval was extended to accommodate 3 car trains. A new passenger shelter was also installed. Before the platform was lengthened, only 2 car trains could use the platform, and the train had to be stopped precisely so that none of the train doors were beyond the ends of the platform.
