Henrik Rummel (born 26 September 1987, in Copenhagen) is a Danish born American rower. While attending Pittsford Mendon High School, Rummel rowed for Pittsford Crew on the Erie Canal in Pittsford, NY.[1] He is a graduate of Harvard University.[2]

During the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the coxless four and won third place.

Bulge debate

A picture[3] of Rummel on the podium during the 2012 Summer Olympics shows a bulge in his pants which sparked a debate and many internet memes. Rummel was also the brunt of segments on the Colbert Report[4] and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart[5]
