Note: Foliage does not resemble typical Abies alba (European Silver Fir); much closer to Abies borisii-regis (Bulgarian Fir), though location is slightly outside the usually-cited range of this species - MPF (talk) Note: Actualy foliage is not from Abies borisii-regis as it is unmistakably an Abies alba specimen. Foliage is from an ecotype of xeric rock outcrops in the dinaric karst. Those xeric fir forests occur from Croatia to Montenegro and Silver Fir shows phenotypic adaptations to those sites. - Orjen
