Summary

Description
English: Pagers like the Swissphone Patron pro are in use in some towns for the purpose of alarming fire brigade units / EMS teams / etc. Those pagers are able to receive text messages via radio transmission and show them on their display. Simultaneously, an alarm sound is activated when a message comes in.
Deutsch: Pager wie der Swissphone "Patron" dienen oftmals der Alarmierung von Einsatzteams. Diese Pager sind in der Lage, per Funk übertragene Textmeldungen zu empfangen und auf dem Display anzuzeigen. Gleichzeitig wird der Alarmton ausgegeben, sobald eine Nachricht eingeht.
