Description

Ford Zephyr Six at a car show at Coalpit Heath, near Bristol, England.
I don't know the age of this car but the number plate format "3 numbers and 3 letters" suggests the year of registration would have been somewhere between 1955 and 1964. In the mid-nineteen-fifties the UK number plate system changed from "3 letters and 3 numbers to "3 numbers and three letters", and between 1963 and 1965 (depending on the issuing authority) a suffix year letter was added to make seven digits and letters.

  • English tax office data
  • Date of first registration: 25 March 1954
  • Year of manufacture: 1954
  • Cylinder capacity: 2262 cc
Date 4 July 2004 (according to Exif data)
