Panoramic view of the upper shutins at Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park in Missouri. More than eight months after the flood caused by the breaching of the Taum Sauk Reservoir, the water was still turbid, not clear. Trees and hard-edged, differently colored rocks that were washed into the shutins were visible, and the pool at the lower right was mostly filled in with gravel. Since this picture was made the shut-ins have been restored to their original condition and re-opened to the public.
This image is a composite of 10 images stitched together with the hugin panorama tool, and encompasses approximately 150° horizontally.
