English: A U.S. Navy Martin P4M-1 Mercator (BuNo 122209) of Patrol Squadron 21 (VP-21) in flight over the Patuxent River, Maryland (USA). VP-21 flew the P4M-1 between June 1950 and February 1953. 122209 was later converted to a P4M-1Q. It was badly damaged by North Korean fighters off Wonsan, Korea, on 16 June 1959 and scrapped for spares. |
