Inflammatory arthritis
Inflammatory arthritis is a group of diseases which includes: rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthropathy, inflammatory bowel disease, adult-onset Still's disease, scleroderma, juvenile idiopathic arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).[1]
Symptoms and signs
Symptoms and signs for inflammatory arthritis (as opposed to non-inflammatory arthritis) include morning stiffness lasting greater than one hour, swelling or erythema of joints, pain that improves with activity, tenderness to palpating of individual joints. Other symptoms may include systemic complaints including rash or fatigue. [2]
