John "Jack" T. 'Tank' Woods was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Barrow, as a wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.
Playing career
International honours
Woods won caps at the following matches: For England while playing at Barrow in 1930 against Other Nationalities, in 1930 against Wales, in 1933 against Other Nationalities,[1] and won a cap for Great Britain while playing at Barrow in 1933 against Australia.[2]
Career records
Jack 'Tank' Woods is sixth in Barrow's all time try scorers list with 139-tries.[3]
