Jacqueline Priestman is a British woman from Manchester who was studied by Michael Shallis, a science tutor in Oxford, and was found to have ten times more electricity in her body[clarification needed] than the average human.[1] In 1983, she claimed to have caused electrical malfunctions in 30 vacuum cleaners, five irons and two washing machines.[2] Her body also caused television sets to change channels.[1] She was observed to be able to blow up power sockets at will.[citation needed]
