The station was located in the Adelaide Hills suburb of Aldgate, South Australia, immediately east of the Yatina Road level crossing, and was on the opposite side of Mount Barker Road to the Aldgate bus depot. Facilities were basic, consisting of an 85.3 metre long platform and a shelter.
Jibilla was closed in 1987 when suburban rail services to Bridgewater line ceased. The platform has since been demolished.
