Jimmy Allan (born 24 February 1896 in Cowdenbeath, died 12 September 1982 in Dundee) was a Scottish football player and manager.

Allan had a brief playing career with Cowdenbeath and Falkirk before becoming Dundee United F.C. manager in 1939. In his nine months with the club, he led them to their first final, reaching the Emergency War Cup final only to lose to Rangers. Allan resigned in July 1940 after the club closed for the 1940-41 season.[1]
