Joe Batt's Arm-Barr'd Islands-Shoal Bay is a town in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, located on Fogo Island. The town had a population of 778 in the Canada 2006 Census.
Barr'd islands was settled permanently in the early 19th century by English fishermen. The 1836 census showed a total of 14 households had taken up residence here at this time[1].
On March 1, 2011 the Town amalgamated with other communities to become the Town of Fogo Island.
