On the night of 15 June 2017, a terrorist attack, involving a blast and gunfire, occurred at al-Zahra mosque[2], a Shia mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan.[3] The attack on a crowded mosque killed several people, including a leader of Afghanistan's ethnic Hazaras, Hajji Ramazan Hussainzada.[4][5] Meanwhile, according to an eyewitness, the entire mosque has been damaged in the siege.[6] ISIL claimed to be responsible for the attack.
