KNWS, known on-air as Faith 1090 KNWS, or by the network name Faith Radio, is a radio station in Waterloo, Iowa, that is owned and operated by University of Northwestern - St Paul and is a non-profit, listener-supported radio station relying on donations from the local community throughout the year. It broadcasts on 1090 AM, covering Waterloo, Iowa and surrounding areas in eastern Iowa. KNWS is licensed to broadcast during daylight hours only. Their website, provides worldwide listening capability.

Programming is nearly 100 percent satellite delivered and produced by Northwestern Media.

The format is mainly Christian talk and teaching, with programs such as Turning Point with David Jeremiah; Focus on the Family; Family Life Today with Dennis Rainey; Insight for Living with Chuck Swindoll; Living on the Edge with Chip Ingram; In Touch with Charles Stanley; Walk In The Word with James McDonald; Just Thinking with Ravi Zacharias; and others. Proprietary programs produced by Northwestern Media include Faith Radio Mornings (6:00-8:00 am.), Connecting Faith with Neil Stavem (12:00-1:00 pm), Live the Promise with Susie Larson (3:00-5:00 pm), Dr. Bill Maier Live! (Saturdays 11:00 am - Noon), Austin Hill's Big World of Small Business (Saturdays 1:00-2:00 pm), Real Recovery with Bill Arnold and George Fraser (Sundays 5:00-6:00 pm), and Cradle My Heart with Kim Ketola (Sundays 8:00-9:00 pm).
