Kevin J. Brown (born May 11, 1974) is a British former professional ice hockey player.

Biography

Brown was born in Birmingham, England, and raised in Mississauga, Ontario.[citation needed] As a youth, he played in the 1988 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Toronto Marlboros minor ice hockey team.[1]

Brown had a successful junior career with the Belleville Bulls and Detroit Junior Red Wings of the OHL. He was drafted 87th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.[citation needed]

A journeyman who played for the Kings, Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes and Edmonton Oilers at the NHL level, Brown was never able to duplicate his junior success at the professional level, and he played in minor leagues across North America, as well as in Europe, including a spell with Manchester Storm.[citation needed]
