Kevin Garcia (born August 21, 1990) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer.

Career

Youth and College

Garcia played four years of college soccer at the Villanova University between 2008 and 2011.[1]

Garcia also appeared for Premier Development League side Long Island Rough Riders between 2010 and 2013.[2]

Professional

On January 17, 2012, Garcia was drafted 41st overall in the 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft by New England Revolution.[3] However, he didn't sign with the club.

Garcia joined Swedish club IFK Luleå in July 2013, where he stayed for two seasons,[4] before joining Irish side Galway United in 2015.[5] After his release at the end of the season, Garcia returned to Sweden with Västerås SK Fotboll.[6]

Garcia joined new United Soccer League side Rio Grande Valley FC Toros on January 29, 2016.[7]

Houston Dynamo

On September 6, 2016, the Houston Dynamo signed Garcia as a discovery signing from Rio Grande Valley FC.[8]
