Kinjo Gakuin University (金城学院大学, Kinjō gakuin daigaku) is a private women's college in Moriyama-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The predecessor of the school was founded in 1889; 135 years ago (1889), and it was chartered as a university 1949. Locally, it is known as the "K" of the "SSK" schools, the other two being Sugiyama Jogakuen, another women's college, and Aichi Shukutoku University, which began as a women's college and later became co-educational.
