Location of Prešov District in the Prešov Region.

Kojatice (Hungarian: Kajáta) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.

History[edit]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1248.

Geography[edit]

The municipality lies at an altitude of 346 metres and covers an area of 10.69 km2 (4.13 sq mi) (2020-06-30/-07-01).[1]

Population[edit]

It has a population of about 1,150 people (2020-12-31).[2]
