(Redirected from Konig)
König (German pronunciation: [ˈkøːnɪç]) is the German word for king. In German and other languages that use the umlaut the spellings König and Koenig are interchangeable. As a surname in English-language use Koenig is usual, or occasionally the umlaut is simply dropped, giving the form Konig. In English it may be pronounced /ˈkeɪnɪɡ/ or /ˈkeɪnɪɡ/.
