In 1920, the Coliseum Theatre became the first movie theater in Malaysia. Since November 2012, the theatre has been part of the Lotus Five Star chain and is known as the "LFS Coliseum Cineplex". The 2-screen cineplex is located on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur.
The refurbished LFS Coliseum Cineplex retains its classic design, but boasts fully digital screening facilities that cater to Hollywood, Bollywood and locally produced films. Hall 1 is equipped for all types of movies, while Hall 2 is only able to play Tamil/Hindi digital movies[1]
