Leon Menkshi is a famous Albanian TV personality.[1] Leon is a professional Journalist (MA, European Journalism & International Affairs) and one of Albania's outstanding and charming news anchors; he is also known as a radio host and interviewer. Leon’s relation with the Television is diverse; he is famous not only for being one of the most successful news anchors in Albania, and not only for being the only anchor who is able to anchor in Albanian and English.

Leon Menkshi presented the official votes from Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest from 2006-11. His career in TV started in 1990, by being chosen to host the Albanian National Song Festival (which is now known as the national selection for Albania's entry into the Eurovision Song Contest, Festivali i Këngës) twice in a row in 1990 & 1991. Leon also hosted the national selection in Albania in 2004.[citation needed]

In the recent years Leon has become mainly involved and well known for his TV-production work in cultural news items, mini-reportages/documentaries and live-coverages of international events televised by TVSH.[citation needed]
