List of reptiles of Italy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by SchreiberBike (talk | contribs) at 19:48, 31 August 2022 (This list should include wild reptile species of Italy which maintain a self-sustaining population. A variety for the pet trade first bred in Italy does not count.). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

The Italian reptile fauna totals 58 species (including introduced and naturalised species). They are listed here in three systematic groups (Sauria, Serpentes, and Testudines) in alphabetical order by scientific name.

Sauria (lizards)

Serpentes (snakes)

Testudines (turtles and tortoises)
